I offer massage at Club Zum in Belltown
(www.clubzum.com). I am
also able to provide massage at your office or special event.
Although many people receive massage
as a way to relieve soreness or stress, there are many other benefits
of receiving regular massage. Massage improves circulation and boosts
your immune system to keep you healthy, can reduce inflammation
and improve healing time of injuries, can relieve pain from tendonitis
and low back injuries, and much more.
I have flexible hours to suit any schedule.
Please contact
me at 206-443-3933 for more information or to schedule an appointment.
I look forward to working with you. Colleen Casey, Licensed
Massage Practitioner
Testimonials:
"As both an athlete and a healthcare professional,
I can attest to the skills and knowledge that Colleen demonstrates with her work.
I have been able to get through multiple long training runs and endurance events without
pain thanks to Colleen’s massage. Her touch combines the right amount of pressure and depth
to bring relief without pain. Colleen has been essential to the success of my marathon and
other training." Courteney Bealko, Clinical Director, Active Physical Therapy,
Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist
"I love massage! For my sports injuries (I am an aging athlete) I would,
and have, chosen Colleen Casey. Great hands, great manner, but most of all, a good knowledge of
athletic injuries and bodywork treatments to help them. She helped me with tendinitis in my knee
and plantarfaciitis in my foot." Peter H., MA, Counselor
"Colleen is the best massage therapist
in this area. If you're an athlete, particularly an endurance athlete,
her services will improve your recovery time and decrease the likelihood
of injury." Joe Zauner, Cat.2 cyclist, Northwest
Race Report.com editor-in-chief.
"Colleen's massages are very personalized.
She takes the time to listen to my needs and find out where I am
sore. She also gives me great stretching and exercise recommendations.
I always feel better after her massage, and feel like I have a plan
of attack until my next visit" Rob P., Insurance Sales
About me:
(continued from above)... because I enjoy working with athletes
and active people to help them stay healthy, active and injury-free.
Recently I received more than 45 hours of post-graduate
training specifically in Sports Massage and Injury Treatment, working
with Univeristy of Washington athletes from crew to track-and-field
and baseball. As a teaching assistant at Brenneke, I am also able
to stay on the forefront of the latest techniques and procedures
in the field of Sports Massage.
My professional experience includes working with runners,
cyclists, rowers and triathletes.
While not practicing massage, I enjoy tennis, wakeboarding, rollerblading, swimming,
cycling and competing in triathlons. I also enjoy working with children
as a volunteer at Seattle's Youth Tutoring Program and fundraising for Big Brothers and Sisters of King County.
